Founded in 2012, Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation (SCLDF) is steadfast in our mission: Veteran advocacy, assistance and public awareness of the battles our heroes face when they come home.

Deployments find mission, duty and camaraderie.  Coming home does not always mean peace, but often reveals confusion, turmoil, anger, depression and isolation. To end the pain; an estimated 22+ veterans and 1 active duty soldier succumb to suicide every day.

Our hero, Sergeant Colton Levi Derr suffered with PTSD following his combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. In support of America's War on Terror during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, SGT Derr, US Army 1st Cavalry Division, completed over 500 combat missions.

We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit / Tax ID: 46-1256122

For further information / tickets $25 - please contact Jerry W. Derr @ 605-545-2505 or jerry@sergeantderrfoundation.org.

We are collecting (asking) for donated silent/live auction items for our October 25th Gala! Your assistance is greatly appreciated. We will provide donation forms, as all items of support are tax deductible.

Thank you for helping Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation assist our veterans.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit veteran and active duty military personnel.  We support our warriors who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD or Traumatic Brain Injury TBI and promote awareness about the difficult transition our soldiers face as they come back home.  There is an average of 23 military suicides everyday and your efforts can assist in stemming this tragedy.
